About the ingredients:

CBD

CBD (Cannabidiol) is a chemical compound that comes from the cannabis Sativa plant. There are at least 113 unique compounds found in cannabis known as cannabinoids, of which, CBD is the second most abundant. These chemical compounds interact with the body’s central regulatory system. This system is known to maintain a condition of balance or equilibrium within our internal environment and affect bodily processes such as appetite, mood, sleep and immune system functions. CBD has been shown to have anti inflammatory benefits, although scientific studies are ongoing.

Manuka Honey

Methylglyoxal is its active ingredient and likely responsible for the antibacterial effects which honey is best known for. Manuka honey has antiviral, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits. Its been used since ancient times to heal a myriad of ailments.

Turmeric

Turmeric’s active ingredient is a compound called curcumin. Studies have shown that curcumin helps prevent several forms of cancer including breast, lung, stomach, liver, and colon because of its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. The addition of black pepper( Compound piperine) enhances curcumin absorption in the body by up to 2,000%, thus combining the spices magnifies their effects.

Pineapple

Pineapple contains a compound called Bromelain which may have anti-cancer effects both on cancer cells and by improving inflammation in the body and boosting the immune system. Inflammation is based (among other things) on the action of an enzyme known as cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2). Bromelain can significantly suppress inflammation of this enzyme.
